Quiet Pomodoro / The people behind the timer
About & Contact
Updated
A useful timer, open in your browser.
Quiet Pomodoro is built and operated by CODE MOORE LTD. We built it to make starting a focused work or study session straightforward: choose a task, set an interval and take a break when it ends.
The timer is free to use, with no account or installation. You can change the focus and break lengths to fit your task. Open the timer or learn how it works.
Contact us or report a problem
Email michael@codemoore.com for bug reports, accessibility problems, questions or corrections to a guide.
For a timer problem, include the page URL, your browser and device, what you expected to happen and what happened instead. If sound failed, tell us whether the tab was open and the device awake. Please leave out private task text or health information; we do not need it to investigate.
How we write and update guides
Our guides are written by CODE MOORE LTD. They link to the sources supporting scientific claims, including original research and official clinical guidance where relevant. Practical examples are suggestions to try; we distinguish them from findings established by a study.
Each guide shows its update date. We check linked sources when publishing or making a substantive update, and review reported errors. The ADHD guide is educational and has not been medically reviewed. We do not claim that a timer diagnoses or treats ADHD, or that one interval is best for everyone.
If you spot an inaccurate statement or a broken source link, email the page URL and the passage so we can investigate.
Your saved workspace and privacy
Your tasks, timer settings and completed-session history are saved in your browser. They do not sync between devices. We use anonymous usage analytics to understand visits and basic timer actions; task text and saved session history are not uploaded. Read the privacy details.
Independent from the original method
Francesco Cirillo created the Pomodoro Technique. Quiet Pomodoro is an independent browser timer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by him or the official Pomodoro Technique. See the official Pomodoro Technique website (opens in a new tab) for the original method.
